▍帶你認識「請假」的英文句型
Take … off → 中間加上「天數」，表示「請幾天的假」
He’s taking the day off because he feels under the weather.
他因為身體不太舒服，所以他請一天假。
She took three days off last month to take care of her mom.
她上個月請三天假照顧她的媽媽。
Take … off → 中間也可以加上「星期」，表示「禮拜幾請假」
I plan to take Friday off to go to the wedding with my friend.
我計劃禮拜五要請假去和朋友參加婚禮。
Be on leave / Go on leave 也是實用的「請假」用法
Don’t forget to submit the report before you go on leave.
在你請假前別忘了交出報告。
大家可以用以上的各種假別
表達Take (a/an) ___ leave「請 ___ 假」
I need to take a personal leave to handle some issues.
我需要請事假來處理一些事情。
若要強調天數，在後方加上 for
→ Take (a/an) ___ leave for [天數]
I would like to take a sick leave for two weeks because I’ve got the flu.
我想請病假兩週，因為我得了流感。
注意：請假除了動詞 take
我們也可以替換ask for / request for / apply for
